today was just...blah...I was 10 mins late to work, and I had old people practically banging down the doors... don't they have anything better to do? Geez, go pop some viagra or somethin', but leave me alone.... After work I helped Andrew go take care of some clients... You know, you never know hot it is outside until you're in the middle of a pasture picking up 50 freakin piles of rained on, week-old manure... Oh, and I want to physically hurt someone. Andrew started sales on his stallion in June. The chick he sold him to is making payments every month, as well as paying for his board (stall, feed, watering, cleaning, etc). Well, a few week ago, Stryker (the horse) decided to be rambunctious and kicked a few boards down in the pasture, and in the process of doing so, he injured himself. Just a few cuts on his legs, like 2 on each leg, nothing major. Well, the chick who is paying for him was responsible to clean his wounds and wrap his legs in bandages and look after him. She, being a novice horse owner as well as lazy, didn't look after him. Now, the horse has what are called Florida sores, which are like infected wounds that take FOREVER to go away and might make the horse lame, as well as mess with its conformation (posture or looks, which is critical in horse shows). To make the bad news even worse, the chick called Andrew today and told him that she lost her job and can no longer make payments on Stryker. Now, we're stuck with an injured horse and we may not be able to get what we want from him because of his Florida sores... And I feel so bad for the horse, because he is so sweet, and he'd be a great horse for someone... the only reason we're selling him is because he won't be big enough for either of us to ride; we're too tall for him and we'd look odd riding him... so yeah it's been lovely... fuckin whorebag bitch can't take care of an animal... I saw the sores today and I wanted to beat her with a stick... I mean the damn things are BLEEDING FREELY! Not gushing, but they easily bleed when you take the bandages off. Most folks would use their gray-matter and call the vet out to check it out... they wouldn't wait to see if it'll fix on its own... Argh it's just frustrating.... now he's in pain and there isn't a whole lot you can do except drug him or put pain meds in his food...
